We hope our new colleague will join the Products & Technologies team at our 'development hub' in Tampere (Finland), where many of the closest teammates are based. Your exact role in the team is tailored to your skills and preferences, and in addition to your immediate team, you'll be supported by 90+ Tosiboxians across the globe. We work in a hybrid model, our official working language is English, and we are committed to following a secure development process.

To thrive as a SW Engineer at Tosibox, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven professional experience in mobile app development for Android platform with Kotlin or Java
• Strong understanding of the mobile development lifecycle, including design, development, and deployment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take responsibility, while collaborating across teams

And it's even more awesome if you've got experience of:

• Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as memory management, process scheduling, file systems, libraries, and IPC
• Routing/networking, VPN, firewalls, and cyber security
• iOS development with Swift
• C++
• CI/CD pipeline configuration
• GitLab, Atlassian tools, Agile development
